Wraps the MHCLG Energy Performance Certificate register and adds a layer of practical analysis on top: current band, improvement potential score, estimated upgrade cost to reach band C or B (the regulatory targets for rented stock), heat-pump suitability flag, solar suitability flag, and a band trajectory if the property has been re-certified over time. Why this pricing?
Raw EPC data is free from MHCLG and the per-address single-call API is also free. The wedge here is the retrofit-cost estimate, the band trajectory, and the convenience of one normalised JSON shape per address. Single-property retrofit assessments from accredited assessors start at £150 to £300 each.
