Export screening API · 14-day free trial
Denied party screening API
One call screens a name against six US export lists (the Entity List, the Military End User, Denied Persons and Unverified lists, the ITAR Debarred list and US Nonproliferation Sanctions) and the UK, UN, EU and US OFAC sanctions lists, refreshed every morning. Every result names each list it checked and when.
Plans from £59 a month for 2,000 checks, with a 14-day free trial. See the plans.
Screen a name
curl "https://api.stratumapis.com/v1/export-screening/screen?name=Niki%20Kyriakou&country=GB&reference=order-4471" \ -H "X-Stratum-Key: $STRATUM_KEY"
country is compared with the listed addresses (countryMatch), type narrows to a person or a company, and reference comes back on the result for your records. Trimmed result:

}A UK company and everyone who owns it
curl "https://api.stratumapis.com/v1/export-screening/ownership/08311287?rules=uk,us,ofac,eu" \ -H "X-Stratum-Key: $STRATUM_KEY"
The company and everyone recorded in its ownership at Companies House, screened against the same ten lists, with a verdict for each set of rules you ask for: the UK test (more than 50% or control), the US export rules’ 50% rule for Entity List and Military End User owners, OFAC’s 50% rule (SDN owners) and the EU test. Each verdict says owned or controlled, may reach the threshold, none, or not checked, and the result says where the record stops.

A screening record, not a licensing decision: whether goods need a licence depends on what they are, where they go and their end use.
